Cognizant GenC 2026 Process – Step by Step
flow for BE or B Tech or MCA 2026 batch:
- Registration on Superset or college portal
- Communication Assessment that takes around sixty minutes
- Aptitude and Technical Assessment that takes around one hundred to one hundred and twenty minutes
- Technical and HR Interview combined that takes around twenty to forty-five minutes
Eligibility for this is usually sixty percent or more throughout your education no backlogs. All branches are allowed,. Computer Science and Information Technology get priority.
Round 1: Communication Assessment is the filter
This round is like Versant style on Superset or a similar tool.
- You have to read sentences clearly
- You have to repeat audio clips
- You have to answer short spoken questions
- You have to describe a topic or image briefly

Round 2: Aptitude and Technical Assessment
This round takes around one hundred to one hundred and twenty minutes in total. There is no marking so you should attempt everything.
Quant and Logical questions include
Percentages, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Ratios, Puzzles, Seating, Syllogisms.
Verbal questions include
Reading Comprehension, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms and Antonyms.
Technical Multiple Choice Questions include
Object Oriented Programming, Database Management System, Operating System basics, C or Java or Python output, pseudo-code.

3: Technical and HR Interview is the deciding round
This is one combined round that takes around twenty to forty-five minutes. For GenC they ask questions. For Elevate and Next they ask technical questions and also ask about your project.

- Object Oriented Programming questions like Abstract versus Interface Overloading versus Overriding
